Rivelata l’artista della copertina di Out of the box #3!

Space Otter è onorata di annunciare l’artista che si occuperĂ  della copertina per il terzo numero di Out of the box, la nostra antologia a fumetti!

Si tratta niente meno che di Erica D’Urso, giĂ  disegnatrice per Dynamite, Marvel, e attualmente al lavoro su Inferno Girl Red per la Image Comics. Erica ha anche lavorato su Midnight Roads, la serie di Elisa Di Virgilio e Matteo Parisi, autori del nostro Ghost Dance.

Abbiamo giĂ  ricevuto la prima bozza della copertina, che sarĂ  presentata piĂą avanti.

Il terzo capitolo di Out of the box sarĂ  presentato su Kickstarter, come ormai consuetudine, tra ottobre e novembre 2023.

Out of the box #3 cover artist unveiled!

Space Otter is honored to announce the cover artist for the third issue of Out of the box, our comic anthology!

This is none other than Erica D’Urso, who worked for Dynamite, Marvel, and currently on Inferno Girl Red for Image Comics. Erica has also worked on Midnight Roads, the series by Elisa Di Virgilio and Matteo Parisi, authors of our Ghost Dance.

We have already received the first draft of the cover, which will be presented later.

The third chapter of Out of the box will be presented on Kickstarter, as usual, between October and November 2023.

DecKarnage, il primo GDR di Space Otter, basato su DecKreative!

Si tratta di un Gioco di Ruolo con vibrazioni Old-School in cui i giocatori interpretano un gruppo di disgraziati personaggi di un mondo fantasy e favolesco popolato dalle creature piĂą assurde mai viste.

CASUALITĂ€, DEMENZIALITĂ€ E VIOLENZA PUCCIOSA

sono le parole-chiave del gioco, che è basato su DecKreative, il mazzo di carte “randomizzatore” presentato alla scorsa Lucca Comics&Games e già disponibile.

DecKarnage strizza tantissimo l’occhio a giochi come Munchkin, la serie di videogiochi Borderlands, la graphic novel Odio Favolandia e la famosa serie Happy Tree Friends.

Le sessioni di gioco hanno un tempo contenuto, sono sempre diverse grazie al sistema di gioco basato sulle carte, e sono perfette anche per chi non ha mai giocato di ruolo.

Gli autori sono Silvia de Vincenzi e Osiride Luca Cascioli, fondatori di BlaSt Games e autori ed editor di giochi di ruolo, specializzati nella scrittura accessibile e inclusiva.

La disegnatrice è Erika “EKRA” De Giglio, già autrice di DecKreative.

Tra gli Stretch Goal, avventure scritte da Valentino Sergi (Brancalonia, Blood Sword), Alessandro Piroddi (Fantasy World), Daniele Fusetto (Le Notti di Nibiru), Davide Franceschi e Andrea Sbragia (Rockopolis).


DecKarnage – in bundle con DecKreative – verrĂ  lanciato su Kickstarter in occasione dell’evento “ZineQuest”, dedicato ai GDR spillati, ironicamente nel giorno di San Valentino.


Ricompense base a prezzi accessibilissimi (20€ il manuale di circa 60 pagine, più il mazzo di 54 carte), versioni Deluxe con schermo del Master e schede del personaggio di pregio, e anche edizioni limitate con personalizzazione di eroi e mostri.

DecKarnage, the first RPG by Space Otter, based on DecKreative

It is a Role Playing Game with Old-School vibes in which players play a group of wretched characters from a fantasy and fairy-tale world populated by the most absurd creatures ever seen.

RANDOMNESS, SILLINESS AND FLUFFY VIOLENCE

are the key words of the game, which is based on DecKreative, the “randomizer” deck of cards created by Space Otter, which will become available in english within the DecKarnage campaign.

DecKarnage winks a lot at games like Munchkin, the Borderlands video game series, the graphic novel I hate Fairyland and the famous Happy Tree Friends series.

Play sessions are time-limited, they are always different thanks to the card-based game system, and they are perfect even for those who have never played a RPG.

The authors are Silvia de Vincenzi and Osiride Luca Cascioli, founders of BlaSt Games and authors and editors of role-playing games, specialized in accessible and inclusive writing.

The designer is Erika “EKRA” De Giglio, author of DecKreative.

Among the Stretch Goals, adventures written by Valentino Sergi (Brancalonia, Blood Sword), Alessandro Piroddi (Fantasy World), Daniele Fusetto (The Nights of Nibiru), Davide Franceschi and Andrea Sbragia (Rockopolis).

DecKarnage – bundled with DecKreative – will be launched on Kickstarter at the “ZineQuest” event, dedicated to stapled RPGs, ironically on Valentine’s Day.

Basic rewards at affordable prices (20€ the manual of about 60 pages, plus the deck of 54 cards), Deluxe versions with Master’s screen and hi-quality character sheets, and also limited editions with customization of heroes and monsters.

The game will have two editions – italian and english – and international shipping.
