Anatomy of a card

Let’s start from the back!

The side with EKRA’s illustrations is to be considered the “back” of a DecKreative card.

Each illustration is designed to be “dreamlike” and widely interpretable. You can use it like the other randomized elements, take only a part or in its entirety, or you can directly replace cards to games that exploit ambiguous drawings, such as Dixit, The Sixth Sense, Mysterium, Ensemble, Detective Club, etc…

The drawings are also perfect for inventing stories with the little ones, telling a piece of history each! Find out how by clicking here*.

Draw a card

Do you need instructions to draw a card?! Well… remember that DecKreative does not have real “backs” that are all the same. So how can you draw randomly? Very simple: ALWAYS DRAW FROM THE BOTTOM!

Let’s head to the front!

… What’s that hyphen now?!

The hyphens indicate a “cocked die”: you must draw a new card.
Yes, it is annoying, but it allows you to keep accurate statistics!
