Ghost Dance

Written by Matteo Parisi. Art by Elisa Di Virgilio.

1890, American frontier. The natives’ Ghost Dance should have been a peaceful movement, a way to drive out the white invaders using dances and choral ceremonies. But after the resentment for the Wounded Knee Massacre takes over, the rites open actual rifts in the tissue of reality. Supernatural energies and monstrosities pour into the frontier, transforming a large part of America in a lethal no-man’s land. For the settlers the winning of the West, near to its end, has to restart from scratch. Meanwhile, half a world away, a coven of oriental magicians are studying this catastrophe with extreme interest…

Ten years later Castor, an old but still deadly gunslinger, roams the frontier’s desolate lands to tie up his last loose ends.

Two mysterious twins follow in secret his quest. They want to hire a group of desperados for an impossibile mission: reach China’s Forbidden City to kill a god.
